Biomedical Library Move: Communication to Faculty

The following communication was distributed on November 29, 2004 by e-mail to faculty and students in medicine, biology and pharmacy from Dr. Susan Starr, director of the Biomedical Library:
BIOMEDICAL LIBRARY WILL MOVE OUT ON 12/17
The long awaited Biomedical Library Addition and Renovation is about to begin!
As a result the Biomedical Library will move to temporary quarters in Geisel Library on December 17, 2004 for the duration of the project.
All services and collections now in the Biomedical Library will be available from our new temporary location, on the lower level of the West Wing of Geisel Library. We expect to return to the new, larger, Biomedical Library in the summer of 2006.
The Library will be CLOSED for the move on Saturday and Sunday, December 18 and 19. We will reopen with partial services on Monday, December 20. We will CLOSE again, along with the rest of campus, on December 23, reopening on Sunday, January 2, 2005.
WINTER QUARTER INSTRUCTORS please note: because we will be closed along with the rest of campus over the holidays, we will not be able to process any course reserves during that period. Please try to have reserve materials to us by December 13 so we can have them ready for the first week of the quarter.
