Self-Service Photocopying

A. You Order, We Retrieve and Copy
- The Interlibrary Loan staff of the UCSD Biomedical and Medical Center Libraries will retrieve and photocopy materials from the respective
collections upon request.
- For UCSD faculty, staff and students copies are provided for $3.50* per article.
- For area health professionals copies are provided for $11.00** per article.
- For all others, please contact the UCSD PLUS Program
for your photocopying needs.
* Charged to a UCSD recharge (budget) account.
** Through the Loansome Doc service. There is an additional $3 charge for fax deliveries.
- You may request photocopies by telephone, fax, mail, or in person. The telephone numbers to use are:

B. You Retrieve the Material, We Copy
- The staff of the Biomedical and Medical Center Libraries will photocopy material you retrieve yourself from the collection.
- For UCSD faculty, staff or students, the cost will be $0.15 per exposure with a $3.00 charge per order
if mailed to an off-campus address.
- For all others, the cost will be $15.00 per individual article plus copyright royalty fees;
$0.15 per exposure over the first 15. Most of these requests will be referred to the PLUS Program.

Self-Service Photocopying
- Self-service photocopy machines are available at both libraries.
The machines will operate with Imprints debit cards. Copies cost $0.10 each. Debit cards may be
purchased either from Imprints on a index number or with cash from card vending machines in the
libraries at the $1.00 level and additional value added. To buy a card in the libraries, you need
to bring a $1.00 bill if you don't already have a card.
